How Interested Are You?

San Juan County is growing and new water and sewer lines will provide services to residents of Spanish Valley.

Sewer Infrastructure
Water Infrastructure

The Spanish Valley area within San Juan County does not have a community culinary water or sanitary sewer system. As the Spanish Valley area receives increasing growth pressure, planning and constructing infrastructure is a top priority for the county. Jones & DeMille Engineering is organizing and designing both a culinary water system and sewer system for the Spanish Valley area in San Juan County.

A study was recently completed to understand the needs and costs of providing water and sewer systems for current residents and the future population. A stand alone water system is the best alternative to provide culinary water to residents in the area. A combined sewer system with Grand Water & Sewer Service Agency (GWSSA) and Moab City sewer was the selected alternative to treat waste water.
